Shocked and saddened to hear that Madeline has died. I'm out of town and just read the obituary in the Dunkirk Observer on-line. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her and had the privilege of working with her at Westfield Memorial Hospital. R.I.P. Madeline.

I worked with Madelyn for many years at the Ripley office as well as having been her patient in the OB ward at Westfield Hospital. Madelyn was always a loving, caring nurse and a joy to work with. She will be missed. Prayers go out to Madelyn's family at this sad time. Keep the good memories in your hearts.

Madeline has come to be very close with me in past years and recently. My heart completely aches and makes me feel physically ill that this could happen so suddenly. I'll never forget her as long as I live because she left a huge impact upon me as a young lady. She truly was the sweetest woman and she did so many things for me. I love you Madeline. God definitely recieved one of it's best angels today <3 Please keep my Grandma Grace good company until i see you both again.Thank you for everything you ever did for me, it will never be forgotten. My biggest hope is that I can be half the woman that you and my grandma were.Love, Britt.

Many prayers go out to Madeline's family. I received such loving and tender care from Madeline when I had my sons at WMH. Afterwards whenever I saw her she would always ask how the boys were and even took the time to gave me helpful tips on whatever I was going through with them. I will always remember Madeline and all that she had done for me.A poem for the family.LOVE LIVES ONThose we love remain with us for love itself lives on, and cherished memories never fade because a loved one's gone....Those we love can never be more than a thought apart, for as long as there is memory, they'll live on in the heart.

Dear Larry, Becky, David and families:We are very saddened to hear of Madeline's passing. She was such a special lady in so many ways. Working with her over the years at Westfield Hospital, I learned how loving and compassionate she was. I am so grateful she was able to help in caring for my Mother on her final journey. I will always remember her laughter and our Thursday morning "coffee get togethers!" We all have a special guardian angel watching over us! Rest in peace...a job well done!

I graduated with Madeline in 1965 from MCS in Mayville. She was always such a nice person, and became a nurse and worked with my best friend Linda Casler Davidson at WMH. Linda said she was an excellend nurse who got to deliver alot of babies during her career. What an honor it must have been for her. I live in Sebring, Florida but have kept in touch with Madeline with fb and so enjoyed her messages. Will miss her and my husband, Allan and I send our sympathies to your family.

So glad that Aunt Mary Syper and I came by to see Madaline when I in Westfield this summer. We lived acrossed the street from her and her family on Hardscrabble Road many years ago.
