Dear Betty Lou and Brenda, My sympathy to you both as it is hard to lose a parent especially the one remaining as I very well know. Dad also lived to be 90 so he and Gert share having reached that same special milestone. I will always remember your mother's laugh and all of the great memories your folks shared with my folks over the years through their long friendship and their mutual love of antique cars. Now she is with your father, my parents, Vic and Lucille Stout and others who have gone before. Go with God.

Brenda & Betty Lou,I was so sorry to here of Aunt Gerts Passing. She was my favorite Aunt!! She lived a wonderful long life. You were so lucky for that. Betty,and Brenda what can I say about your mother.. She was a great lady, and could make anyone smile, after caring for her for the 4 years I have been there and Still there. Her famous things to say was. I learned about breeding dogs on the way to the eye doctors... and this is what we are gonna do today, and sit here and talk with me for a while Love her and Will miss her deeply.xxxxoooo

As a next door neighbors to the Eggerts, the Jones family had close and fond relations with Gert, Art and the two girls. Julie and I will miss our lively annual chats with Gert during our stays at Chautauqua and trips to the Ox Roast.
