Obituary of John M. Friedrich

A Westfield resident since 1973, John was a graduate of Central High School in Syracuse. He earned his bachelor of atrs degree from Brockport State and recieved his master of Arts in Education degree from Fredonia State. John taught elementary education for 19 yeras in the former mayville Central School. He retired in 1990. He was a former member of the First United Methodist Church of Westfield, where he sang in the Choir and was a Lay Leader for 2o years. John was currently a member of the Lighthouse Christian Fellowship. John enjoyed theatre and the arts. He was active with the DF Players during the 1970's and 80's, as well as with the Westfield Theatre Players in the 1980's. He was a member of the Westfield Community Chorus in the 1980's and 1990's, and was active in the Jest For Jesus, Clown Ministry from 1984 until 1994, where he was known as Bechelome.
