Carl, Angie, Carl Jr, Ross and your beautiful families - I was so saddened to learn of your mother's passing. She was such a warm, loving woman and always had a smile on her face and always a hug and a hello. Whenever I was in Westfield, I always looked forward to seeing her and your father in church. They always made me feel loved! It is so hard losing your mother - as someone else said, time will heal but you will never forget. Each of you have her in your heart and she will always be with you. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Have strength and cherish your memories.Ginny (Baideme) Finn

To: Carl, Sr., Carl, Angela, and Ross: I don't know if you remember me. When I was growing up in Westfield I was a very close friend of Greg Malacane and spent a great deal of time with Greg and his family during those years. Greg and I are still in close touch and see each other as much as we can even though we live relatively far apart. Greg had informed me that your mother was struggling with her health, and he called me when he was in Westfield on the day of your mother's funeral. I wanted to send my condolences to you and tell you what you already know: Your mother was a lovely person. She always acknowledged me with a warm greeting, a smile, and a sincere positivity when I was a kid growing up in Westfield. She had a way of making you feel good about yourself that I will always remember, even though it has been nearly 40 years since I last saw her. I always admired the Cash family who I knew (Carl, Tony, Josie, Charley, Louie) for your strong devotion to each other and the positive way in which you led your lives. I feel very fortunate to have known Greg and his family so well, and through them many of the rest of you. Without your realizing it, you all have had a strong positive influence on myself and my family. I feel lucky to have crossed paths with you at one time in my life!

I wasn' t able to get to Westfield, but I wanted you to know I was thinking of you and am very sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. She was such a beautiful person inside and out and always so supportive of your endeavors. I still remember the good times we spent at your house in high school and your parents always spoke to me when we would run into each other in arestaurant. The sadness you feel does get better with time, but something (when you least expect it) will trigger tears you never knew you had!But that's OK because a part of you is missing and you can never get it back. Your memories become the thread of family togetherness. Cherish this time and remember Live, Laugh, and LoveViki
