I am so shocked and saddened to hear about Jay. Although I haven't lived in the area for many years now, I fondly remember the good times we shared in Westfield hanging around "Country Born", Jay letting me get up to play bass with Mike, Glenda, and Mr. Eck. It's sad we often lose touch with friends, but I know Jay will hold a special place in the hearts of myself and my family.

My condolences to Johns' family and friends! I Retired from Welchs,but worked with John for many years.His children would be my cousins,as his former wife Glenda was related to me. To my dear family and the friends of Jay Rednock. Jay was a truly neat guy to be around. In the brief times I was able to spend time with Jay I truly was impressed with his desire to always have fun. His thirst to just enjoy life was a simple focus and one others should learn from. I truly believe that Jay knew that life is short. Jay, my son Trevor, and I last shared a weekend just riding ATV's and laughing about old times. We shared the old stories of our family and laughed about the present. I will cherish that weekend forever and I know he is in a better place. His monthly calls and his crazy emails also were a welcome encouraging word. He should be remembered for his willingness to lend a hand and share his knowledge with others. We will truly miss him.His cousin, Howard Reardon, Jr.
