Sorry I couldn't attend the services but I send loads of love and hugs your way. May the memories continue to bind us together as we continue to share them. Barry had shared adventures he had with his dad - including a glider ride. We spent many a holiday meal with Tom and Rose and I'm thankful for those memories, as well.

Dear Rose and family, I am sad to hear of the passing of Tom. I have fond memories of Tom when I was a young man learning to fly gliders. Tom was one of the instructors at Aero Soaring club where I was also a member and learned to fly when I was 16. It has been many years since I have seen him but still hold those memories very closely. My condolences to you all and wanted to thank you for sharing him with so many of us in the flying community so many years ago. Roderic Hunt

I was saddened to hear of Tom's death. I knew Tom through soaring with him at Aero Soaring Club in Mayville. He was an all-around good guy, and worked hard for the club. He held the duration record for glider flights at Dart Field for many years, a flight of over 5 hours. When the record was broken, he made a special trip to the airport to give his sincere congratulations to the person who broke it . . . he was that kind of a guy. My deepest sympathies to all of you.
