Bert was the father in my life for the past 30+ years. He went out of his way to help anyone that needed it. He was "On the Road Again" with my mom. He encouraged me to be strong when I really needed to be and was one of the main reasons that I got out of a very abusive marriage. I will miss him and my mom and all our phone calls and visits. The holiday's won't be the same without them but they are spending it together and will be watching over all of us. I have 3 guardian angels now.

I'll never forget Dad & Bert and Dad came through the door just hemmin & howlin. Dad was beatin Bert and the last hole Bert got a hole in one. I don't think Bert never let Dad live it down lol
