Obituary of Debora L. Grien
BROCTON - Debora L. "Debbie" (Belson) Grien, age 47, of Peerless St., Brocton, passed away unexpectedly, Sunday, November 3, 2019, at home.
Debora was born on June 5, 1972, in Westfield, New York, the daughter of Michael Belson of Perris, CA and Sandra (Walters) Gross of Erie, PA.
Debbie received her degree in Accounting from Jamestown Community College and had been employed by CHRIC for 27 years, most recently serving as the Director of Finance and Human Resources.
Debbie loved the outdoors and cherished the time spent with her family camping and hiking in the Long Pond area of the Adirondack Mountains. Her love of nature was expressed through her passion for Flower gardening and rocks. She had a dream to create a rock lined water stream feature in her back yard. Debbie's main love was for her daughters and her family. Whenever possible, she would attend her daughter's sporting events and cheer them on. Her grandchildren were the love of her life and the sparkle in her eye. She was compassionate to animals and loved her two dogs, Tebby and Bailey. Debbie was a fan of the Buffalo Bills.
In addition to her mother of Erie, PA and Father of Perris, CA, Debora is survived by her 2 daughters, Heather (David) Lyon of Ashville NY, and Nicole (Patrick Mason) Grien of Auburntown TN. She is further survived by her brother, James (Dawn) Gross of North East PA and her sisters, Holly (Tim) Brightman and Ashley (Lee) Gross, both of Ripley NY. Debora was the very proud grandmother of LeLand Mason and Wyatt Lyon.
Friends may call from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM on Friday, November 8, 2019 at the MASON Funeral Home, 37 Clinton Street in Westfield. All other services will be private. Burial will be in Grahamville Cemetery, North East, PA.
Debora's family suggests Memorial Contributions be made to the Northern Chautauqua Canine Rescue, 7540 North gale St., Westfield, NY 14787.
