Obituary of Kaaren L. Fox

WESTFIELD - Kaaren L. Fox, 77, of Erie, PA, fomerly of Westfield,  passed away Wednesday, October 2, 2019, at home in Erie, PA follwoing an extended illlness.

Kaaren was born February 11, 1942, in Buffalo, New York, the daughter of the late Arthur and Hattie (Tachel) Hauri.

She had been  a Waitress at the former Union 76  truck stop in North East, PA for many years. Kaaren was a follower of Jesus Christ and had been involved in 2 Mission trips to Cuba.

She is survived by her son, Randy Gonyea and by her daughter,  Michele Gonyea both of Westfield, NY and  by her daughter-in-law Christine Gonyea of Oregon. Several grandchildren, nieces and nephews as well as numerous friends also survive.

In addition to her parents, Kaaren was preceded in death by her son Philip L. Gonyea and by her siblings, Robert Hauri and Dorothy Hedley. 

There will be no visitation.  A Memorial Service will be held at the Lakeshore Assembly of God, 252 East Main Street, Westfield, NY on Saturday, October 26, 2019 at 10 AM the with the Rev. Paul J. Coran officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Kaaren’s name to the Lakeshore Assembly of God Missions Fund.
