Nothing in this world we live in can prepare us to lose someone we love to death. I am sending my condolences to both family and friends due to the death of Richard Maggio. There are future promises for our dear loved ones in the Bible at John 5:28-29 & Rev 21:4. For more information about these future promises for families, individuals and children go to jw.org and download the publication "When Someone You Love Dies". It's a wonderful publication for people of all religious backgrounds and has been very comforting for me when I have lost my dear loved ones in death. When someone you love dies always keep their memory tucked safely away in your heart.

Dick did an outstanding job for the employees of Chautauqua County government during his years as President of Unit 6300, CSEA. He made a lasting impression on me during this time, and he encouraged me to get involved in union activities. County employees made financial gains under his leadership. He was so good at union activities that the union hired him to be a district representative, and many western NY public employees benefited . Dick understood human nature and could anticipate what approaches to use in dealing with others. He was a loving, caring man and he treated his wife "Jane" with dignity and respect. He was a great story teller and you always felt better after encountering him. He had a marvelous sense of humor and never hesitated to poke fun of himself. He listened to people and never hesitated to help a friend in need. People confided in him and he could be trusted to respect privacy. He was considered a fine man by those of us who met him professionally and DickYT is the type of person you never forget. RIP Dick

Deepest condolences to Richard's family. He meant so much to all of us, especially our Fredonia High School monthly breakfast "club". I'm sure he enjoyed our company, also, when he was able to attend. Every month his name came up in conversation; hoping his health and well being would improve. He will be greatly missed. Rest in peace, Richard.

I want to express my heartfelt condolences to your family. Death is one of the hardest things we have to deal with in life. We can do very little to ease your pain but the God of all Comfort can calm your hearts and help you cope with your loss. (2 Cor. 1:3,4) Lean on Him in the days to follow.
