Obituary of Beulah S. Hayner

A resident of the Westfield and Ripley areas since she retired in the 1970's. She began her carrer as an educator in a one Room School house in Ripley, NY and attained her batchelors Degree in Education from SUNY Geneseo and her Master Degree from Columbia University. She taught elementary education and remedial reading on Long Island for many years. When she retired she moved back to Ripley and settled into the family homestead that has been in her family for several generations. She greatly enjoyed gardening, painting, reading, traveling and her her beloved cats, however, her family was most important to her.
