WESTFIELD - Alfred M. "Al" Cole, age 77, of Academy St., Westfield, passed away Friday, March 15, 2019, at home following a brief illness.

Alfred was born May 9, 1941, in North East, Pennsylvania, the son of the late Mortimer and Florence (Beebe) Cole.

Al was a 1959 graduate of Westfield Academy and Central School and completed his Bachelor's Degree at SUNY Fredonia in 1964. On July 24, 1964, Al married the love of his life, Sharley A. Snyder; sadly, Sharley preceded him in death on May 31, 2002. 

Al had an extensive career in flooring sales, and retired as Territory Manager for Allied Eastern Inc., Lancaster, NY.

Al was an avid outdoor enthusiast who was a member of the NRA and was a life member of the Westfield Fish and Game Club, where he served on the Board of Directors. Al enjoyed motorcycles and was a member of the American Motorcycle Association as well as the Chautauqua Antique Equipment Association.

He is survived by his Daughter, Laura Klemick and her two children, Lindsey and Tyler, all of Apex NC, as well as by his sister, Susan Roan of Lexington, NC.

In addition to his parents and wife, Al was preceded in death by his brother, David Cole.

No visitation will be observed. A memorial Service may be announced at a later date.

Memorials may be made in Al's name to the Westfield Fish and Game Club, PO Box 481, Westfield, NY 14787.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the MASON Funeral Home, 37 Clinton St., Westfield, NY 14787.
