WESTFIELD - Kay (Nundy) Hall, age 78, of West Main St., Westfield, NY, passed away Sunday, February 17, 2019, at home with her son by her side following an extended illness.

   Kay was born on April 5, 1940, in Westfield, New York, the daughter of the late Lloyd and Mary (Thomas) Nundy.

   A lifelong resident of Westfield, Kay was a 1958 graduate of Westfield Academy and Central School and attended Hiram University. She married Alfred H. Hall on Nov. 26, 1960; sadly Mr. Hall preceded her in death on April 20, 2006, after 45 years of marriage.

  She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Westfield and had participated in many Church activities. Kay was a very civic minded person who had been a member of Westfield Union Relief, Westfield Women’s Organization, the Westfield Hospital Auxiliary and had been a member of the Gray Ladies.  She had been a longtime member of the Patterson Library Board of Directors as well a many more community and civic organizations. She loved gardening and had been a member of the Garden Club.  Kay was a dedicated homemaker, devoted wife and loving mother and grandmother.

   Survivors include her son, Alfred H. Hall, Jr., with whom she made her home and her grandson, Timothy Helmer-Hall of Brewerton, NY.  She is further survived by her 3 sisters in law, Elaine (Late James) Hall of Westfield, Margaret Kilgore of AZ, Mary Martha Kilgore of ME, and Jackie (Late Thomas) Nundy also of Westfield, as well as her brother in law Brian (late Beth) Simons of CT.

  At Kay's request there will be no visitation and all services will be private.  Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Westfield.
  Memorial Contributions in Kay's memory may be made to Northern Chautauqua Canine Rescue, 7450 N. Gale St. or to the Westfield Stray Cat Rescue, 59 E. Main St., both in Westfield, NY 14787.

  Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the MASON Funeral Home, 37 Clinton St., Westfield, NY 14787.
