Obituary of Robert Thompson

RIPLEY - Robert "Bob' Thompson, age 66, of East Main Rd., Ripley, NY died unexpectedly on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at Westfield Memorial Hospital Westfield, NY. 

Bob was born October 10, 1952 in Ridgway, PA, a son of the late Wilbur and Lois (Doull) Thompson. 

He had been employed by C & P Collision in Mayville as an autobody detailer. Bob enjoyed hunting and fishing, playing horse shoes and caring for his yard and home. He loved to sit by his firepit and spend time with family and friends, especially his grandchildren.  

He is survived by his wife, Kathy C. (Gregory) Thompson, whom he married on October 17, 2009 and by his daughter,Samantha (Tim) Duffley of Brocton, NY. He is further survived by his brothers, John (Rhonda) Thompson of Ripley, NY, William (Judy) Thompson of Ridgway, PA, and James (Hazel) Thompson of Lake Worth, FL.  Many grandchildren and several great grandchildren also survive.                     

He was preceded in death by his twin brother, Richard Thompson and by his infant brother Douglas Shane Thompson. 
 

All Funeral services will be private.
