Obituary of T. Frederick

WESTFIELD - Louise (Cumbee) Frederick, age 92, of East Main Street, Westfield died Monday, May 12, 2008 at St. Vincent Health Center, Erie. Louise was born on March 16, 1916 at Southport, NC the daughter of the late Ephriam W. and Mary (Clemons) Cumbee. A resident of Westfield for the past 20 years, Louise had moved here from Wilmington, NC, to be with her daughter and family. She had retired from the offices of Broward County General Hospital in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Mrs. Frederick was a member of First United Methodist Church of Westfield. She is survived by her daughter: Sandra P. Mentzell and her husband Harry, of Westfield, NY. Her two granddaughters; Kelly Otero of Erie, PA and Amanda Smith of Westfield, NY; and her four great grandchildren, Sara Wegmiller, Philip "PJ" Plasse, Harrison Smith and Winston Smith, as well as by her step-granddaughter, Maudi Mariani. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Paul Frederick who died in 1981, her three sisters, Elizabeth Evans, Madge Smith, Lynn Jones, and by her brother, Richmond Cumbee. No calling hours will be observed. Funeral services will be private.
