Obituary of Russell J. Gundlach

A Westfield resident most all his life, he was Westfield Academy graduate and a veteran of WW II having served with the US Army. He had been employed by Renold, Inc. (Ajax Flexible Couplings) until his retirement in the late 1960's. Coog enjoyed photography, Amateur HAM Radios, and history of Westfield. He was an avid reader and greatly enjoyed the Patterson Library. Russell was devoted to his granddaughter, Mary Ann, whom he raised and cared for due to her special needs.
