Obituary of Donna Keyser

WESTFIELD - Donna R. (Casbohm) Keyser, age 65, of Grove St., Westfield, died Monday, April 30, 2018 at Select Specialty Care of Erie, PA following an extended illness. Donna was born on September 8, 1952 in Westfield, NY, the daughter of the late Raymond and Nancy (Constanza) Casbohm.

She had been employed by Renold, Inc. as a factory office clerk and retired from there in 2000. Donna enjoyed putting together jigsaw puzzles and shopping. That love for shopping lead to part-time work at her favorite store, Big Lots, for many years. However what she cherished most was the time spent working outdoors and gardening.

Survivors include her three sons, Steven (Debra) Keyser of Dunkirk, NY, Michael Keyser of Buffalo, NY and Byron Keyser of Westfield, as well as her grandchildren, Elise and Garrison Keyser. Donna is further survived by her companion, Mike Rothwell, with whom she made her home and his son Daniel of Ft. Myers, Fl, and by her two sisters: Nancy (Bill) Berg of Van Buren, NY and Ann Casbohm of Healdsburg, CA. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

In addition to her parents, Donna was preceded in death by her husband of 27 years, Woodrow "Woody" Keyser, whom she married on Nov. 21, 1970 and who died on Sept. 5, 1998 as well as her brother, Raymond Casbohm and her niece Irene Berg.

Friends may call at the MASON Funeral Home, 37 Clinton St., Westfield, NY on Friday, May 4, 2018 from 2-4 PM followed by a Funeral Service there at 4PM with Father Romeo Hontiveros officiating. Burial will be private in St. James Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to The Woodrow D. Keyser Sports Scholarship c/o WACS, 203 E. Main Street, Westfield, NY 14787.
