Bill was enlisted with the United States Navy serving his Country during WW ll from 1944 until his Honorable discharge in 1946. He had been employed at the Welch Grape Juice Factory in Westfield, NY as a receiving clerk before being called upon to serve his Country. After serving his Country he was employed as a carpenter for many years with Jackson Builders of Westfield, NY. Bill enjoyed wood working, building and construction and was an exceptional carpenter building many homes. He built both the homes he and his family lived in at 40 Crandall Street and 83 North Gale Street both in Westfield
