Bonnie L Englant, age 56, of Bliss Rd., Westfield, formerly of the Rochester, NY area, died Monday, February 26, 2018 at Erie County Medical Center of Buffalo, NY. Bonnie was born on January 21, 1962 in Rochester, NY, the daughter of Norman G. and Sharon (O'Neal) Allen of Rochester. Bonnie was a 1979 graduate of Gates-Chili High School and received her degree from Genesee Community College. She had been employed as the Executive Director of L.V.A in Orleans County. She obtained her Master's degree in Criminal Justice from RBI in Rochester. Bonnie had worked as a Paralegal for over 10 years at the Law Offices of Allen and O'Brien, also of Rochester, all while pursuing a Doctorate degree in Linguistics, prior to becoming ill. She enjoyed going for nature walks and she loved her many animals. Bonnie enjoyed history, mythology, and learning many languages. In her spare time she enjoyed crocheting, reading, and spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, Norman and Sharon, Bonnie is survived by her husband: Michael Englant, whom she married on August 29, 1986, and by her one daughter, Brandy Hofschneider of Brockport, NY and her two sons: Bryan Hofschneider and Timothy Englant, both of Westfield. Bonnie was the proud grandmother of Autumn, Sophia and Riley Englant. She is further survived by her three brothers: Richard Allen and Norman Allen, Jr., both of Chili, NY and John Allen of Rochester, NY. All services will be private. Burial was in Westfield Cemetery. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the MASON Funeral Home, Westfield, NY.
