Obituary of Ardell D. Newton

A North East High School Graduate Class of 1945, he enlisted in the US Army where he served his country as a Military Policeman until his honorable discharge. He had been employed as a grape farmer for Don Campbell farms and JAB Enterprises both in Erie County, PA until his retirement in the early 1990's. During his retirement he cared for his granddaughter and kept active doing lawn care, especially for the First United Methodist Church of Westfield. He loved the Buffalo Bills and was an avid Train buff with his sons and enjoyed driving to the Daniel Reid Pier in Westfield for solitude. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and the great outdoors. He was a collector of antique bottles many of which he dug from the earth himself.
