WESTFIELD - Beverly J. (White) Burnside, age 85, of Crandall St., Westfield, died unexpectedly, Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at Erie County Medical Center of Buffalo.
Beverly was born on September 14, 1931 in Dunkirk, NY, the daughter of the late Horace and Isabelle (McIlvain) White.
A Westfield resident most all her life, Beverly was a graduate of Dunkirk High School and attended Jamestown Community College. She had been employed for 39 1/2 years by Welch Foods of Westfield as a Laboratory Technician retiring in October of 1993. "Bev" was an avid bowler and had bowled in the Dunkirk Associated Leagues. She enjoyed Knitting, Crafts, Cross Stitch and gardening. Beverly enjoyed the outdoors and was a loyal Buffalo Bills fan.
She is survived by her two daughters: Lynn (Wayne) Barber of Dewittville, NY and Margo Burnside of Orlando, FL, and her one son: Edward Burnside of Westfield, NY. Beverly was the proud grandmother of, Jesse Barber, Megan Barber, Heather (Ryan) Estes and Nicole Ebish. She is further survived by her great granddaughter, Aubrey Ryan Estes as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Carl A. Calarco (1969), her second husband, Wallace E. Burnside (2005) and by her sister, Barbara Grace.
Friends may call at the MASON Funeral Home, 37 Clinton Street, Westfield, NY.
on Monday, March 20, 2017 from 12 noon until the time of the Funeral Services there at 1 PM
with Msgr. Albert Clody officiating. Private burial will be in Willowbrook Park Cemetery, Dunkirk.
