Dr Randolph saved me from Hodgkins in 1984. Such a wonderful man an doctor. When he treated me at Kaiser Fontana. I'm in shock at this news.
My condolences for his family!
The angels got another great one.
After my remission on a recheck appt. I was afraid to stop seeing him every 6 mos. He knew an told me ever so kindly "I hope I never see you." Meaning he hoped my cancer never returned causing me to have to come back. RIP to a great man

Having just learned today of his passing, please allow me to offer my deepest condolence to the family of Victor Randolph.
I only knew Vic through our mutual interest in the game of chess. We played often at Panera Bread in Bloomsburg. As time went on I was fortunate enough to learn something of the character of the man.
He was a very strong player but never gloated in his victories. He would rather discuss ways to improve my game. He was always a gentleman, willing to share his knowledge and his friendship. I'm glad to have known enough of him to say that his was a worthwhile life. And I regret I can only share some small portion of the grief his passing must have visited on you.
In sympathy
Jim Joline

I was so sad to hear of Dr. Randolph passing. I was his medical assistant for 25 years at Kaiser Permanente and as I'm reading the tributes sent by others they bring back so many memories. His wonderful sense of humor, his compassion and kindness and of course his ties. We lost touch over the years but he was never forgotten and will forever be remembered as a exceptional human being. My condolences go out to his family. May God bless you all.

We, who were very fortunate to have had Dr. Randolph as our Oncology Doctor at Cancer Care Center, are very sad to read of his passing. Dr. Randolph was always very kind and cheerful, and a great sport too dressing up to help raise money for cancer research. We are very sorry.

I worked with Dr. Randolph at Cancer Care in Elysburg. He was so easy going, compassionate and fun to be around. I remember one day he told me he liked my fingernail polish. This struck me as funny because how many men would even notice? It was just like him to pay a complement. So sorry for your loss. May God bless & comfort you.

Victor played in our Bob Johnson Memorial Chess Tournament, in North East, PA, on several occasions (see my game photo with him from 2012). He was a good guy, and could even keep his sense of humor if he lost a game. Which was not often. He left us much too soon. The irony is that the Bob Johnson tournament is also held in memory of another Chautuaqua County resident. I'll be sure to mention Victor's passing at our next tournament at Mercyhurst North East on 10/10/15.

Dr. Randolph was the first oncologist to see my Father when he was diagnosed with prostate cancer. My Father, Robert Derr, thought he was the nicest person and such a good doctor who would listen and would explain everything to him so that he could understand. It turned out that they both attended the same church (Christ Evangelical Luthern, Milton, Pennsylvania.)` We (my Father, his long-time companion Leola, and I) all agreed that my Dad was so fortunate to have someone like Dr. Randolph. We would joke about his classy ties and how stylishly he dressed. He always told us that "his wife dressed him."
Dr. Randolph cared and it showed. We were saddened when he was no longer our doctor. My Father too has passed and I know he would feel badly reading the obituary.
