THE RECENT LOSS OF CARL IS A SORROWFUL EVENT TO THE VILARDO FAMILY AS WELL AS US. WE CAME TO KNOW CARL SOME 20 YEARS AGO AND WE KNEW HIM AS A SON, HUSBAND.FATHER. GRANDFATHER, BROTHER, AND OUR FRIEND. CARL WAS THE KIND OF MAN WE ALWAYS WANTED AS A FRIEND. HE WAS A FAMILY MAN AND A GOD LOVING MAN WHO WE BELIEVED WOULD HELP AND BEFRIEND ANYONE IF HE COULD AND HE USUALLY COULD. WE WILL. AS WELL AS ALL, MISS HIM IN THIS LIFE TIME BUT WE KNOW HE IS IN HEAVEN WITH THE LORD GOD. CARL WILL ALWAYS WATCH OVER US AND WITH THE GRACE OF GOD WILL AWAIT THE REST OF US WHEN IT IS OUR TIME TO JOIN HIM IN OUR HEAVENLY HOME. MAY GOD BLESS HIM AND KEEP HIM

Dear Roberta and family, We are so sorry to learn of your loss. Carl was a wonderful person who we had the good fortune to know when we lived in Westfield.While he worked extremely hard to produce an excellent grape crop, he always had time to help his fellow man.Carl led by example and he will surely be missed by many. While our family moved from Westfield many years ago, our memories of Carl and his wonderful family will never be diminished. We know you faith will be a source of strength during this time of grief. I just found out of Carl's passing this morning(Sunday)so I've missed the visitation. I shall always remember Carl at the farm and our bantering over the price of fuel or oil. He was a great guy, a great customer and always a great friend. A true Westfield worthy.

Carl will be missed for his ready smile and hardy laugh. He was a part of Westfield and believed it to be a wonderful home for his family and supported it in so many ways. He appeared to be the centerpiece for his family and friends. When visiting his sister, Mary Jane, Carl kept a friendly, but stern eye on us if our young male friends were also around. My sympathy to all of the family, his loving wife, siblings and many cousins.

Mrs. Vilardo and family, Carl was such a great man. He stood up to what he felt and knew was right. He always had a hello and handshake any time I saw him.
