Obituary of Cecil P. Miller

MAYVILLE - Cecil P. Miller, age 78, of Lawson Road, Mayville, died Saturday, December 21, 2013 at Absolut Care of Westfield. Cecil was born on September 6, 1935 in Wellsville, NY, the son of the late Phillip and Eva (Briggs) Miller. He had been a area resident since the early 1950's. Cecil had been an over the road truck driver for Ethan Allen for many years, had owned and operated his own trucking company for several years and retired from Hills Trucking in Fredonia after a long career. He enjoyed old cars and tinkering with anything mechanical. Survivors include his two daughters: Mary Ann (Paul) Myers of Westfield, and Donna Lee Miller of Conneautville, PA. , 8 grandchildren and many great grandchildren also survive. Cecil was the brother of Gilbert Miller. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepfather who raised him, Milburn Mack, and by his daughter, Peggy Jo Martin, and by his son, Kenneth Glen Miller. Funeral services will be held on Saturday morning, January 11, 2014 at 11 AM at the West Portland Baptist Church, 7081 East Rt. 20,Westfield, NY 14787.
