Mrs. McAllister was one of my favorite Sunday School teachers. She always had a smile, even when I saw her on the street. She was a wonderful Brownie/Girl Scout leader and a fine person. My sincere sympathies to you all.

To Tom, Veva and Bruce, I am so saddened to hear of your mothers passing. I have no words now that will be of comfort, only time will heal that sorrow. I did want to say that when my mother was living, and we would make our trips to town for errands, she would be happy to run into your Mom. They didn't talk for long but they had a history together....of being friends and growing up and going to school at the same time in Westfield. They had their circle of friends and when we all started to come along, it was quite a group. We had our summer get togethers when we we're all kids at each other's houses. And our fathers, along with the Cooks, would celebrate their December birthdays at one another's houses. Those were always memorable events. Now they are all together again, and I hope you can soon find some peace and comfort in knowing that. I know I do. Please remember that you are in my thoughts and prayers.
