WESTFIELD - Harry A. Monroe, age 66, of Bird St., Westfield, died Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at Buffalo General Hospital of Buffalo, NY. Harry was born on April 26, 1947 in Westfield, NY, the son of the late Simon and Myrtle (Simpson) Monroe. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam war. He retired from NYS DOT, Mayville,. Monroe of White Plains, NY and his son: Simon F. Monroe IV of Westfield, NY. Harry is further survived by his sister in law, Dolores (Gruppa) Monroe of FL, as well as many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brother , Simon "Ike" F. Monroe.
