Obituary of Brian W. Reed

Westfield-Brian W. Reed, 25 of Westfield ,NY, died unexpectedly Friday April 6. 2012. He is survived by his wife Amy Carlson Reed, who was his high school sweet heart, and his daughter Alicyn. He is also survived by: his mother Wendy Reed (fiancé Jason Shoemaker) and his father Mark Reed. Brian is the brother of Benjamin and Marcus Reed and the late Justin Reed Halpainy-Livermore, all from Westfield. Other survivors include: His paternal grandmother Helen Horn of Florida, maternal grandmother Sally Riter, and paternal grandfather David Reed, mother-in-law Cheryl Carlson and father-in-law Allen Carlson, Sr. Also brothers-in-law Joshua Pierce (Amanda) of Westfield, and Allen Carlson, Jr.(Melissa) of Conewango, NY., sisters–in –law Tina Near (Larry) of Brocton, Amanda Franklin (Leroy) of Brocton, Valerie Stein (Joel) of Naples, Italy, and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Friends and family may call at the Lakeshore Assembly of God Church, 252 E. Main Street, Westfield, NY, Thursday from 11:00am-1:00 pm, where a memorial service will follow immediately at 1:00 pm. Interment will in the Union Cemetery following the service. Brian had a unique sense of humor and very funny in his own special way. He was an avid fisherman and sports fan. He loved the Green Bay Packers and NY Mets. He was also an avid video game player with NFL Madden his game of choice. He especially enjoyed trying his luck with “scratch off” lottery tickets. Brian loved and cherished all the children he cared for, but most of all he truly loved being a “family man” and spending time with his wife and daughter.
