WESTFIELD - Anna Mary (Donaldson) Hough Wicks, age 96, of Cass Street, Westfield died Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at Absolut Care of Westfield, Westfield, NY.
Anna Mary was on born April 24, 1915 in Bridgeville, PA, the daughter of the late David U. and Edna (Campbell) Donaldson.
A Westfield resident most all her life, Anna Mary had been employed in the offices of Renold, Inc., retiring in 1977. Upon her retirement, she moved to Melbourne, Fl and returned to Westfield in 1998. In her younger years she enjoyed crafts of all kinds, knitting and fabric painting; however, Anna Mary's children and grandchildren and great granddaughters were the love of her life.
Mrs. Wicks was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Westfield for over 70 years and the Order of the Eastern Star, Columbine Crown Chapter.
She is survived by her daughter: Martha Hough of Rochester, NY and her two sons: Peter Hough of Placerville, CA, and Thomas H. Hough of Westfield. She is further survived by her two grandchildren and two great granddaughters.
Anna Mary was preceded in death by her first husband, Fred Hough who died in 1959, her second husband, Donald Wicks who died in 1983, her 3 sisters; Jane Denny, Betty Judd and Virginia Donaldson and by her brother, David Donaldson.
Memorial services will be held at the MASON Funeral Home, 37 Clinton Street, Westfield, on Saturday, March 17, 2012 at 11 AM with Rev. Kevin Connelly officiating.
