Obituary of Donald H. Andrews

BROCTON - Captain Donald H. Andrews, age 72, of John Street, Brocton, NY, passed away suddenly on Monday, October 10, 2011 at home in Brocton. Donald was on born April 10, 1939 in Flushing, Queens, NY, the son of the late Robert E. and Rosa (Larson) Andrews. A Brocton are resident since 2001, Captain Andrews spent most of his life living on Long Island where he was an avid hunter and fisherman and ran his charter boat in Montauk, NY. Capt. Andrews is survived by his high school sweet heart and wife of 54 years, Joanne (Kaiser) Andrews, his son Steven Andrews, of Brocton, his daughter & son in law, Laura & Wayne Beck, of Los Angeles, CA, his sister Carol Whitley, of Washington, DC, his grandson Michael Beck of Los Angeles, CA and his granddaughter Kristine Kaplan and her husband Dr. Angelo Kaplan of Hayward, CA. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Besides his parents Donald was preceded in death by his son Robert Donald Andrews, and his brothers Henry Leroy Andrews and Robert E. Andrews, Jr. Friends may call on Friday, October 14, 2011 from 3-7 PM at the MASON Funeral Home, 37 Clinton Street, Westfield, NY, and are invited to attend the Funeral Service there on Saturday morning at 11:00 AM.
