SILVER CREEK - Sasha Lyn Vazquez, age 18, of Silver Creek, NY, died Saturday, September 17, 2011 at Brooks Memorial Hospital, Dunkirk of injuries sustained in an automobile accident on Sept. 16, 2011. Sasha was born on December 15, 1992 in Dunkirk, NY the daughter of Ricardo Vazquez of Dunkirk and Yumi (Pandak) Vazquez of Silver Creek, NY. A Chautauqua County Resident most all her life, she attended Silver Creek High School and BOCES Vo-Tech in the small animals program. She loved animals and wished to be either a Veterinarian or an Animal Enforcement Officer. She was a fun loving young woman with a great sense of humor who enjoyed making her friends and family laugh. She enjoyed reading, drawing and being with family and friends. Besides her mother Yumi (Ismael Merced) Vazquez, with whom she made her home, she is survived by her father, Ricardo Vazquez of Dunkirk, her sister: Amanda Merced of Hollywood, FL and two brothers: Robert Pandak and Kenneth Merced both of Silver Creek, her Maternal grandmother, Chun Pandak, and her Aunt Lisa Pandak both of Irving, NY. She was preceded in death by her Maternal Grandfather, Lee Pandak and her brother, Ricardo Vazquez, II. All services were held privately at the MASON Funeral Home, 37 Clinton St., Westfield, NY.
