Sharon M. Hosmer

  Sharon M. Hosmer, 77, of Brocton, NY passed away on Thursday evening, December 26, 2024 at Absolut Care of Westfield, NY.  She was born on September 23, 1947 in Dunkirk, NY the daughter of the late Cornelius and Martha (nee Kwiatkowski) Burnside. On October 3, 1998 she married David P. Hosmer in Brocton, NY.

  Sharon is survived by her beloved husband; a loving daughter, Mae (Kyla Price) Li of Chambersburg, PA.; a dear sister, Marcia (late Edward) Duda of Grand Island, NY.

  She graduated from Brocton Central High School in 1965 and continued her education at Stony Brook University obtaining a bachelors degree in education.

  Sharon worked in the accounting department at Buffalo General Hospital for more than 20yrs and was a secretary at St Dominic’s R. C. Church in Westfield, NY.

  In her free time she enjoyed cooking and arts & crafts.

  Friends may call at the Mason Funeral Home, 37 Clinton St. Westfield, NY on Thursday, January 2, 2025 from 4-7 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 3, 2025 at St Dominic R. C. Church, 15 Union St. Westfield at 10:30 AM. Please assemble at the church. Interment will follow at St. James Cemetery.
