James Frank Knopp

August 21, 1954 - October 26, 2024

James F. “Jake” Knopp, 70, of Westfield, NY passed away on Thursday, October 24, 2024 at the Roswell Park Cancer Institute in Buffalo, NY.

He was born on August 21, 1954 in Titusville, PA, the son of the late Von C. and Doris M. (Higley)

Knopp.

Jake graduated from Westfield Academy in 1973. He was a self-employed plumbing and heating

Contractor , co-owning Associated Builders in South Carolina. Afterwards, he owned and operated

Westfield Plumbing and Heating in Westfield, NY. He enjoyed hunting, electronics, woodworking, drawing

and was inventive in many ways.

He will be greatly missed and is survived by his beloved wife of 42 yrs. Polly Mathews Knopp; a loving son Cortland (Emily) Knopp of Rochester, NY;

  four cherished  grandchildren Hollis, Olivia, Hazel and Owen; two

sisters, Odessa (Ed)Ernst , Kathy Hoggsett (Crow Beers);  two brothers Chris  (Elaine)and Kent (Barb)

Knopp; he is also survived many nieces, nephews, great- nieces and great-nephews and friends and family members.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later time, date and time to be announced.
