Dear Hartley family and Dee Dee: Merle was a character who entertained many. He helped people,with good advice,moral support and at times financially. He had a great business mind and was very intelligent. I loved listening to his stories about racing on the beaches in Florida and anywhere else he was challenged. He lived life to the fullest.
