Marian N. Gerould

Age 95, of Westfield, NY passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 25, 2024 at Absolut Care of Westfield in Westfield, NY

Marian was born on August 22, 1928 in Sheridan, NY , the daughter of the late Andrew and Florence (nee Gens) Nowak.

She married William O. Gerould on June 6, 1948 in Westfield, NY and he preceded her in death on April 27, 2018.

Marian worked as a bookkeeper for Welch Grape Juice Factory in Westfield, NY for many years.

Her memberships included the United Methodist Church of Westfield and the Westfield Garden Club. She loved gardening and

won many blue ribbons for her floral exhibits. Marian enjoyed traveling and went to Europe for the Garden Tour of Europe also visited Europe 2 more times on vacation.

She is survived by a son, Dr. Jeffrey (Ellen) Gerould of Westfield; two grandchildren, S. Alexander (Shannon) Gerould of Utica, NY and

Brittany (Wes Gillispie) Gerould of Clymer, NY; six grandchildren, Onalya, Brooklyn, Hudson and Jules Gillispie, Brianna and Natalie Gerould;

a sister-in-law, Barbara Nowak; also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and her beloved husband of 69 years, she was preceded in death by a brother, Harold Nowak and a sister, Dolores Ensign.

As per Marian’s wishes services will be private and burial will be made in the Westfield Cemetery.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Mason Funeral Home, 37 Clinton St. Westfield, NY.
