Arthur C. “Artie” Schuster, 71, of Westfield, NY passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, October  10, 2023 at his home.

He was born on November 11, 1951 in Westfield, NY the son of the late Frank and Marjorie (nee West) Schuster.

Artie worked on the family farm in his younger years and then he was employed by local contractors as a carpenter.

He is survived by a brother, David (Phyllis) Schuster of Colonial Heights, Va.; a sister-in-law, who looked out for him the last 10 years,

June Schuster of Westfield; also survived by many nieces & nephews.

In addition to his parents, Artie was preceded in death by three brothers, Raymond, Charles and Bradley Schuster.

In his free time he enjoyed working with model boats and watching westerns, especially any that featured John Wayne “The Duke”.

As per Artie’s wishes there will be no public visitation and services are private. Burial will be made in St. James Cemetery.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Mason Funeral Home, 37 Clinton St. Westfield, NY.
