Obituary of Thomas J. Tetreault

Thomas J. Tetreault, 84, of Westfield, NY passed away on Monday morning, July 17, 2023 at Memory Garden  in Jamestown, NY.

He was born on March 20, 1939 in Buffalo, NY the son of the late Arthur and Bette (Berger) Tetreault. On October 7, 1960, he married the love of his life Beverly Irvin at the Westfield Episcopal Church and together they raised four children.

Tom is survived by three children, Dana (late Rick) Winkelman of Westfield, NY, Kelly (Mark) Perry of Merced, CA. and Todd (Lirio) Tetreault of Seabeck, WA; five cherished grandchildren, Jacob Perry, Ian (Lexi) Winkelman, Jocelyn Perry, Thomas and Gabrielle Tetreault  and two great- grandchildren, Sophia and Scarlett Winkelman.

In addition to his parents, Thomas was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 62 years, Beverly I. Tetreault, a son, Arthur “Mark” Tetreault, a brother, Barry Lane, a sister, Deborah Lane and his grandmother who helped raise him, Doris Berger.

Tom graduated from of Westfield Academy in 1957. He was well known for his strong work ethic, in his younger years he worked three jobs at one time to support and take care of his family. He was the personnel manager for Renold Ajax in Westfield, NY retiring after many years of service.

He was a member of the Westfield Portland Baptist Church and a former member of the Westfield Volunteer Fire Co.

A Celebration of Thomas’s Life will be held at the convenience of the family, date and time to be announced. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Westfield Volunteer Fire Co, 20 Clinton St, Westfield, NY 14787.
