Judith Ann “Judy” Ficarra Cochrane,

72 of Westfield, NY passed away peacefully on Thursday afternoon

February 2, 2023, at her residence following a brief illness. Judy was born in Westfield, NY on July 6,

1950, the daughter of Phyllis (LaPorte) and Nicholas Ficarra. A lifelong area resident of Westfield, Judy

graduated from Westfield Academy and Central School in 1968. After graduation, she started her

employment in Sept. of 1968 at Ajay Flexible Coupling Company, where she worked for 47 years, holding

various jobs until her retirement in 2015.

Judy was a lifetime member of Lakeshore Assembly of God Church where she had various positions,

including working with missions, children’s church, Sunday school and nursery. She also was a member

of Women of the Moose Club Chapter #118.

Judy’s whole world revolved around her family. She is survived by the loves of her life, a son Michael

Nicholas and daughter-in-law Brandy. Her precious grandchildren: Michael Andrew, Hailey Ann and

Sadie Rose; all of Westfield. Also surviving are her brother Daniel “Butch” (Cherri) Ficarra and nephews,

Ryan and Danny. A private service will be held. Memorials can be made to Lakeshore Assembly of God

Church at 252 E. Main St., Westfield, NY. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Mason Funeral
