Obituary of Beverly I. Tetreault

Beverly I. Tetreault, 83, of Westfield, NY passed away peacefully on Saturday evening, November 5, 2022 at her home with her family at her side.

She was born on July 9, 1939 in Dubois, Pa. the daughter of the late Joseph and Olive Mae (Skelton)

Irvin. On October 7, 1960, she married the love of her life Thomas J. Tetreault at the Westfield Episcopal Church  and together they raised four children.

Beverly is survived by her beloved husband of 62 years, Thomas J. Tetreault ; two daughters, Dana (late Rick) Winkelman of Westfield, NY and Kelly (Mark) Perry of Merced, CA; a son, Todd (Lirio)Tetreault of Seabeck, WA; two brothers, Joseph (Barb) and Gary (Jeanne) Irvin both of Ripley, NY; six sisters, Diane (Tom) Kurzrock of Penfield, NY, Joyce (Jack) Mosier of Harborcreek, Pa., Lorraine (Bill) Walker of Kremmling, CO, Gwen (Tim) Ziek of North East, Pa., Kimberly (Phil) Kraus of Lebanon, Pa and Karen (Barry) Harper of Clarence, NY; five grandchildren, Jacob Perry, Ian (Lexi) Winkelman, Jocelyn Perry, Thomas and Gabrielle Tetreault; two great-grandchildren, Sophia and Scarlett Winkelman.

She was preceded in death by her step-mother, Vesta Irvin, a son, Arthur Tetreault and a sister, Marlene Stewart.

Beverly was a 1957 graduate of Ripley High School and also a graduate of Jamestown Business College in 1959. She worked for Westfield Memorial Hospital as phlebotomist and Westfield Family Physicians as a medical transcriber retiring after many years of service.

She was a member of the West Portland Baptist Church in Westfield, NY and the Quilters Guild of Westfield.

Beverly had many interests and hobbies she enjoyed bowling and played on different bowling leagues throughout the years with her husband Tom, she was an avid reader who participated in local book clubs her favorite books to read were mysteries. She also liked to play cards and travel. One of her favorite pastimes was going to the movies with Tom and then out to dinner. Most of all she loved spending time with her family and friends.

A Celebration of Beverly’s life will be held at the convenience of the family, date and time to be announced. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Chautauqua Hospice & Palliative Care, 20 W. Fairmount Ave, Lakewood, NY 14750.
