John A. Hammond

John A. Hammond, 52, of Clymer, NY passed away on Saturday morning, October 29, 2022 at his home with his loving family at his side. John was born in De Land, FL. on December 14, 1969 the son of Robert and Carol (Foster) Hammond. On June 27, 2009 he married the love of his life, Peggi Clark in Stockton, NY.

He is survived by his mother, Carol Hammond of Lakewood, NY; his beloved wife, Peggilee (Clark) Hammond of Clymer, NY; a step-daughter, Angellica Clark; two grandchildren, Raymond and Ellalyn Ingerson; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Judy and Barry Clark; a grandmother-in-law, Celestine “Jane” Barrus; four canine companions, Taylor, Petey, BamBam and Chase. He is also survived by his two bestfriends, Charlie Anderson and David Walrod.

John was preceded in death by his father, Robert Hammond, his paternal grandparents, Harry and Eva Hammond and an infant son, Nicholas Hammond.

He worked as a machinist at SKF Aeroengine in Falconer, NY for more than thirteen years. John was known for his wicked sense of humor, he loved his blue Camaro and taking Peggi to the

Buffalo Motorama every year for her birthday, going to the Gerry Rodeo and attending the Demolition Derby’s to watch friends and family participate. He also spent a lot of time at their camp. But most all he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He will be dearly missed by all.
