Obituary of Mark A. Daniels

Mark A. Daniels, 41, of Fredonia, N.Y. passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2022, in Pomfret, NY. He was born on Sept. 22, 1981 in Dunkirk, N.Y., the son of David and Brenda (Jones) Daniels. In addition to his parents, Mark is survived by a daughter, Sydne (Hunter Rizzo) Daniels; two sons: Alex and Blake Daniels; a proud grandfather of Sophia Rizzo; a sister, Stephanie (John) Carlton; and a brother, David (Joscelyne Ortel) Daniels; as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by a sister, Kelly Daniels. Mark worked for Sunset Truck & Auto in Irving, N.Y., as a mechanic. Mark was a jack of trades, who took great pride in fixing, building, repairing and maintaining almost anything. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed spending time in the woods hunting, fishing and riding his four wheeler. He also was a diehard Pittsburgh Steelers fan but most of all he loved spending time with his family and friends. Mark was loved and will be dearly missed by all. A celebration of Mark’s life will be held on Saturday, Nov. 12, 2022, at the American Legion, 110 W. Main St. Brocton, NY from 3-7 p.m..
