Obituary of Laurie Robbins

Laura A. "Laurie" Robbins, 59, of Westfield, NY passed away on Friday morning, August 12, 2022 at her home with her family at her side after a brief battle with breast cancer.

She was born in Jamestown, NY on June 11, 1963, the daughter of Vincent and Sandra (Springborn) Alessi. On September 3, 1988, she married the love of her life Scott Robbins at SS Peter & Paul RC Church in Jamestown, NY.

Laurie is survived by her loving parents, Vince and Sandy Alessi of Bemus Point; her beloved husband, Scott Robbins; two cherished children, Kathryn (Christopher) Cardo and  Andrew (Emilee) Robbins of Westfield, NY; a dear brother, Christopher Alessi of Buffalo.

Laurie was a 1981 graduate of Maple Grove High School in Bemus Point. She was co-owner of Westfield Nursery since 1991, a business she worked passionately with her husband, Scott and her son, Andrew.

She was an active member of the First United Methodist Church of Westfield.

In her free time she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, traveling, especially to Disney World, boating on Chautauqua Lake and she was an avid Buffalo Bills fan.

There will be a Celebration of Laurie's Life on Saturday, August 20th, 2022 at the First United Methodist Church, 101 East Main St. Westfield at 11 AM. Interment will be private in the Westfield Cemetery.

Memorial contributions in Laurie’s memory may be made to the First United Methodist Church or the Pink Pillow Project, P.O. Box 885 Getzville, NY 14068.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Mason Funeral Home, 37 Clinton St Westfield, NY.
