John C. Porter age 79 of Westfield, NY passed away on Saturday, January 29, 2022. at Absolut Care of Westfield, Westfield, NY.
He was born on May 2 1942 in Buffalo, NY, the son of the late Edward and Margaret (Fischer). He is
survived by his brother Thomas (Pamela) Porter of Crawfordville, FL; two nieces, Lisa and Linda Porter and a nephew, Thomas E. Porter II.
John graduated from Frontier High School in 1960, he received his Associates Degree from Erie County Technical
Institute in Construction Technology. He served in the NY National Guard at Fort Drum and worked for the NYS DOT as a crew foreman in Rochester, NY
Services will be private per John’s wishes, arrangements have been entrusted to the Mason Funeral Home, 37 Clinton St. Westfield,
