Laura Mae Bohall

Laura Mae Bohall, 65, of Westfield, NY passed away Monday morning, November 29, 2021 at her home with her loving family at her side.
She was born on April 24, 1956 in Westfield, the daughter of the late Ralph and Gloria (Eggert) Wakely. She married Robert Bohall on August 17, 1991 in Portland, NY.
She is survived by her husband, Robert “Bob” Bohall; a son, Ralph Bohall of Westfield; a daughter, Amber Dezern of Bath, N.C.; two brothers, Howard Wakeley of Westfield and Daniel (Nancy) Wakeley of Apex, N.C.; two sisters, Bonita (Norm) Smith of Dewittville, NY and her twin sister, Linda (Walley) Haley of Ripley, NY; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her beloved son, PVT Jason Rupczyk.
Laura was a 1974 graduate of Westfield Academy and Central School. She worked at the local McDonald’s restaurant.
She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Westfield where she served as a deaconess, the Mayville VFW Post # 8647 ladies auxiliary and was very involved in the Girl Scouts when Amber was growing up.
Laura enjoyed reading, especially Stephen King thrillers, collecting movies on VHS and DVDs. Her favorite movie was “Sister Act”.
A Celebration of Laura’s life will be held at the convenience of the family, time and date to be announced. The family suggests memorial contributions in Laura’s memory to Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center, 665 Elm St, Buffalo, NY 14203.
