Barbara Rae Monroe, 83, Westfield, NY passed away on Tuesday morning, November 23, 2021 at her home.

She was born in Westfield on December 8, 1937, the daughter of the late C. Harold “Prof” Wolfe and Rae Louise Sharpe.

Barb is survived by her beloved daughter, Sabrena Monroe of Myrtle Beach, SC and a son, Cameron Monroe of Westfield, NY; four cherished grandchildren, Casey (Donna) Foreman, Megan Foreman, Erica (Garrett) Marek and Heather Monroe; two great-grandsons, Cole and Luke Marek; two sisters, Pat (John) Mary and Kathy (Alvin Kopta) Wolfe; a brother, Jon Wolfe.

She is preceded in death by her former husband, James “Duff” Monroe and a brother, Harold “Butch” Wolfe.

Barbara was a lifetime resident of Westfield, a 1956 graduate of Westfield Academy and Central School,  a successful real estate broker, an entrepreneur and the owner-operator of her business, “ Monroe’s Antiques”, a bookkeeper for numerous years at the family business, Monroe Marine.

She was an active participate in these local clubs, the Barcelona Yacht Club, the Women’s Organization and the Kiwanis Club.

Friends and family may call at the Mason Funeral Home, 37 Clinton St. Westfield on Saturday, December 11, 2021 from 2-4 PM. Interment will be private at a later date.  In lieu of flowers please send a donation to Westfield Fire Department in our Mother’s name.
