Charlie will always be "Chuckie" to me, from the time he married my big sister Del and was welcomed into our family. And when I think of Chuck, I think of the word "BIG." for Chuck was, indeed big in every way...big in stature...(when my little nephew Michael, at age 5, and from New Jersey, saw him for the first time, he said "Hey, what are you, a giant, or what?"...big hands (my father used to say, in his broken English "he hassa da hand like a da shovel" and, of course, big in voice and presence. When Chuck entered a room, you always knew it. He was a "force" with a passion for life and especially for his family. What was biggest about Chuck, though, was his generosity. He was always willing and happy to share Thanksgiving holidays with all of our family, showering us with food, drink, and stories galore. Jon and I were so happy to have shared his last few years together in Florida, eating, laughing, playing Trivial Pursuit, and reminiscing about days and holidays gone by. Chuck was unforgettable... he will always be with us and let the force be with him.

Although we didn't get to see them very much, Chuck & Delores were always so welcoming, warm and loving when we were blessed with their company. Our sympathy and love go out to all the family in hopes that special times and fond memories will help ease the ache of this great loss. We love you, Lisa, Dave & kids.

Sixty –five years ago Gil and I double-dated with my sister, Del, and her husband, Chuck. From that time forward, we have shared almost all of our life’s experiences. We followed them from the Bronx to Brocton, New York and were never far apart—even after all “the kids” were grown and off on their own. When we all retired, the four of us became “snowbirds” and rendezvoused each winter in Florida. Chuck’s strong presence will be missed and we cannot express our deep sadness over his loss. Our sympathies go out to Del and her loving, and most caring, family. Jeanne (and Gil) Gaudia

Charles A. Polisoto…. However, to my brother and I he was always “Chuck”… He was the guy who was dating our cousin, Delores. As youngsters, my brother and I always thought that he was a cool and super guy…Chuck always was willing to lend a hand to the family and, although my memory doesn’t remember specifics, I know that there were times that he was always there for my mother, my brother and I.I was so happy that Deli and Chuck asked me to be their ring bearer at their wedding and that wedding was one of the happiest that I ever attended…a sandwich affair at a Bronx, NY hall… So long ago and yet I remember it…A great wedding.I was also so very happy that Deli and Chuck were present at my daughter’s wedding about five years ago…Rest in Peace, Chuck… God Bless You and Keep You…My deepest sympathies to the whole family.“Joey” Langellotti
