To this day, I'm still not sure how Chris got the "Crazy" before his name. But knowing him from my childhood memories, I can pretty much guess. Sue, my deepest sympathy goes out to you and your family. Chris was a very good life long friend of my families and I will always cherish the memories I have of him. I'm glad we stayed in touch over the years, even if it was just through Buddy. lolHe was a legend of his days, and will always be loved and remembered by his caring ways and love for life. R.I.P. Chris, We will miss you. Deepest Sympathy's, Dana & Family.

I knew Chris from my days in Ripley. We played pool at McGirls tavern then owned by the Butcher family. Chris was a great pool player and had the patience to help teach anyone to play. I remember playing cards with his Mother, Father and Brother Jeff at their home. Chris will always hold a special place in my heart. May the lord help heal the void left from his passing and may our memories of him bring joy to all that he crossed paths with.

I would like to extend my deepest sympathy to all the members of Gary's family. We were both members of the N.E.H.S. Class of 1960. Our 50th Class Reunion is being held next month and we will observe a moment of silence in his honor, as well as to remember other classmates we have lost along the way. Remember...life is not forever, love is. Sincerely, Patti Britt

My Prayers go to The Greatest Friend I have ever had.. He was My Best Friend and Like a father I had never had... My sponsor The Man has done more for me then anyone ever in my life other then my mother. I have lost someone that will leave the Greatest Impact on my life that could ever have been possible. I regret that I have not given him all that I should have. May He Rest In Peace and Know That I Love Him More Then My Own Life.. If I could Only Be A Little More Like Him....

Family of "Crazy Chris"~~~We were so sad to read about your loss, the world has lost a truly kind, gentle man. Chris will always hold a special place in our hearts, as he was the one who introduced the two of us, and to this day he always remembered our anniversary! We had alot of good times together with him, and have nothing but great memories. We hope your entire family holds on to the good times you shared with him also. Kathy, hopefully you remember me as "Aunt Carol" from years ago when I lived with you & your Mom in Westfield. Our thoughts are with you all, Mike & Carol Torrance

Dear Family: With a nickname like "Crazy Chris" the stories that could be told are many. Chris was a kind and bighearted person who always had a smile and took the time for conversation. He always waved when he was sitting on the porch on Academy St, it will seem strange not to see him there. God Bless you all.

Our prayers are with all of you on the passing of Chris. I remember the day he had come into the club and ordered a pop. I was in my late teens and we all thought that Crazy Chris had gone crazy! But he told us that he never felt better in his life! He was always a happy-go-lucky guy and very genuine. He always gave me a hug. And he was friends with my father John also. Dad said the man would take the shirt off of his back if you needed one and not think one second about it. We will miss Crazy Chris. John, and Kimmi Evans
