Obituary of Isabelle Mae Belcher

WESTFIELD - Isabelle Mae (Rotunda) Belcher, age 79, of Terrace Street, Westfield died Thursday, May 27, 2010 at Westfield Memorial Hospital, following a brief illness.
Isabelle was born on January 19, 1931 in Westfield, NY the daughter of the late Marcello and Edith (Baugher) Rotunda.
A lifelong resident of Westfield, Isabelle was a 1949 graduate of Westfield Academy and had been a timekeeper for Renold, Inc. for 15 years, retiring in 1993.
She was a member of St. Dominic Roman Catholic Church and the St. James Major Altar and Rosary Society, where she had been a Past President. Isabelle was also a member of the Women of The Moose Chapter 517 of Westfield. She enjoyed walking and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Robert L. "Benny" Belcher, her daughter: Nancy (Jim) Scriven of Bemus Point, NY and her two sons: Dale (Alan White) Belcher of Boston, MA, Jon (Deborah) Belcher of Westfield. Isabelle is further survived by her eight grandchildren that include, Lisa (Craig) Spencer of West Seneca, NY, Erynne Gibbs of North Chili, NY, Nathaniel Belcher of Chicago, IL, Shawn (Danielle) Gibbs of Mebane, NC, Joshua Belcher of Westfield, Tony, Linda and Soka Belcher-White all of Boston, Mass., and her four great Grandchildren, Hannah and Claire Spencer of West Seneca, NY and Kaden and Ryen Gibbs of Mebane, NC.
She is also survived by her sister, Julia Civilette of Port St. Lucy, FL and her brother: Richard Rotunda of Westfield.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Gertrude Barber, and her two brothers, Donald Rotunda and Marcello Rotunda, Jr.
Friends may call on Monday, May 31, 2010 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the MASON Funeral Home, 37 Clinton Street, Westfield, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 11:00 AM at St. Dominic Roman Catholic Church 15 Union Street, Westfield with Fr. Walter Werbicki officiating. Burial will be in St. James Cemetery.
