There is not a room in our home that we do not "see" Ed's touch. Such a skilled craftsman, anything we asked for he could do and do so well. Beyond his skills though was the fact that he was such a nice man. Truly he became our friend and we will miss him greatly, he was taken from all of us way too soon. With all of our sympathy and the utmost respect to his memory we say thank you for Ed's time in our lives.

Ed Gross was a true gentleman. He helped us remodel our home and always had great ideas and suggestions. Of course he was a master craftsman who paid great attention to details, but Ed was so much more. He was honest and reliable, with sensitivity, compassion, intelligence and a wonderful sense of humor. We were honored to know him. Penny and Al Newman

Dearest Uncle Ed, Aunt Stella, Brian, Tom, Bill and Suzie,This so reminds me of Ed, your son, father and brother..."God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be. So He put His arms around you and whispered "come to me." With tearful eyes we watched you, and saw you pass away. Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hardworking hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best." My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Sonya (Gross) Morin

Uncle Ed, Aunt Stella and the rest of the gang,It seems like yesterday that we were all at Grandma's and Grandpa's picking grapes and playing in their yard. These are the times that will always put a smile on our faces and in our hearts. Ed put up a strong valiant battle and he still had that great smile. My heart and prayers go out to all of you.Love, Jim ("Jimmy") Gillespie

My deepest sympathy goes out to Mr. and Mrs. Gross.I just can't imagine the loss of one of your children.I have six of my own. Also, I want to extend my sympathy and prayers to Tom and Bill, as losing a brother can be no easier! I can remember a time, after high school, Ed had an old lime green Ford Farelane I think. He kept that car shined to the hilt. Ed, myself, John Webber, Dave Chelton and a couple of other guys in the gang all worked the summer at Johnson Winery combing grapes. We all jumped on top of Ed's car and went up to the top of the hill. Ed slammed on the brakes at the top and threw us all off. He laughed and laughed about that!!I miss those days and that's how I will remember Ed...always a smile and a laugh, never a harsh word for anyone!! May God Bless You Ed!!
