Dorothy E. K. Hemmer Obituary
A Westfield resident since 1952, she moved here from Niagara Falls, NY with her husband, Kenneth, a NYS Trooper, an Investigator for the BCI, and their young family. She had been a member of the Home Bureau, she enjoyed poetry, music, gardening, knitting, yoga, swimming and animals especially her dog Toto. She was active in St. James Church as a Lecturer, Religious Education Teacher and as a member of the chior. She was known by her family as an excellent cook and made the best pies. She had been involved in the annual Catholic Charities Appeal thru St. James Major Church. She had been employed by the Chautauqua County Dept. of Social Services for many years and retired in 1993 as Receptionist and Medical Secretary for Dr. William Clayton in Westfield.
