Obituary of Luella M. Seamans

WESTFIELD - Luella M. (Dedrick) Seamans, age 97, of, Tanglewood Manor, Jamestown, formerly of Westfield, died Wednesday, October 14, 2009 at WCA Hospital, Jamestown. Luella was born on June 1, 1912 in Dunkirk, NY, a daughter of the late Herman and Charlotte (Hess) Dedrick. A Westfield resident most all her life, Luella was a 1931 Graduate of Westfield Academy. She had been employed for 21 years with the Village of Westfield and for 25 years with the former Grand Theater. Luella was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and Society of Westfield since 1940, and was a charter member of the WOTM #517 of Westfield. She was an avid bowler. She is survived by one son: B. Gordon Seamans(Carol) of Beaver Falls, PA, 6 Grandchildren and spouses,10 Great Grandchildren, and 1 Great Great Grandson. Predeceased by her Husband, Bertram L. "Bert" Seamans, whom she married on April 24, 1934 and who died on may 29, 1985, her son, Gale A. Seamans, her brother, Herbert Dedrick, and her sister, Esther Warner.
